My car eats lots of engine oil, so I need to add between summer and winter filter + oil services.

My questions are:
1. Can I add synthetic engine oil or should I keep the conventional one?

2. Should I go with 0w30 or 5w30?
(Considering it's very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer)

3. Should I buy summer engine oil and an additional winter engine oil, or an all-season will fit?

Castrol Edge Titanum Full Synthetic seems to be the best in class

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included the vehicle manufacturers recommendation for the engine oil type and capacity for your vehicle. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you decide to do.

Thanks,

Hey Alex,

Based on your diagram, Castrol Edge 5W-40 A3/B3 is the best choice.

Thank you again,
