Engine oil dipstick replacement part needed

I need a solid metal oil dipstick for Sport Trac the plastic/metal one broke.

Welcome to 2CarPros. That's a common issue with the top of the stick breaking off. I have seen replacement handles for them made from aluminum online, but not a complete dipstick unless you opt to buy something like a racing or universal style part. The replacements are held on with the same pin the OEM parts use.

Thanks. Can you tell me who might have the aluminum handle type? It would be better than the plastic ones that just get brittle and break.

I've seen them on Jegs, VMS racing and others. I just tried searching for aluminum dip stick handle. Just need to make sure the top section will fit into the tube.
