Hi! Everyone I own the vehicle listed above this moment is over 100,000 miles. I am asking for help engine oil, I use 0w-20 oil, but my engine lifter is ticking or tapping noise, sorry! I cannot describe the noise. I use engine oil to thinner 0w20. When I start mornings cold start is very loud, after five minutes engine warm up still hear that kind noise from engine. Anyone have same kind problem? Please help me out or give me more detail! Thank a lots!

Good morning.

Cam and lifter failure are common on the 5.3. The lifters fail internally and by changing grade or viscosity will not help. The cams also wear and the valve lift get effected and effects performance.

Have some check it for you to be sure. The recommended repair is to replace the cam and lifters.
