Engine not warming up?

I got in my car yesterday after work and noticed the temperature gauge was at 0 even though I had been driving my car for some time. Noticed also that heat is not working as well. Coolant is full I'm trying to figure out if it's the thermostat. Thanks in advance.

It does sound like the thermostat might be stuck open.
