Intermittent engine noise?

Can you hear the video and tell me if you ever heard this noise? When you start the car, all is normal, then it does it randomly, sometimes it comes and goes.

Thanks for the video, it helps. It sounds like the timing belt/chain is loose and contacting the timing cover, but I would remove the serpentine belt and then start the engine to see if the noise is still there. If so, I would remove the timing cover for inspection. I don't know which engine this is but if you give me that information after you run the test I can give you specific instructions for the repair.

Thank you, you may have a broken timing chain guide, let me know what happens after you remove the serpentine belt. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.
