Engine noise

When starting engine has a light ticking noise while idling, when accelerating the ticking noise gets louder and faster. Sounds as though its coming from top left of engine or around that area.

Sounds like a bad lifter or rocker arm. However, you should really get it looked at ASAP because it could do damage that can cost much more if it fails or comes apart.
