Engine missing?

It just started won't start unless foot is pressed on the gas.. just cranks over without gas pedal being pushed. when started it is at a very high and shaky idle like it wants to shut off.

Hi,

The idea that you have to press the gas pedal leads me to think the fuel pressure regulator failed. When you press it, it shuts down the fuel to clear a flooded engine.

Here is what I need you to do. We need to confirm the fuel pressure is within specifications. I attached the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications below.
