Engine management light comes on. I have a small code reader and can cancel the fault code. I get a manufacture code come up and I know not what it means. The code I get on my DTC reads P1110, and SHARTFTI. Can you please help as to what it means?

P1110 - Charge Air Bypass Valve - Common issue is for the hoses that connect to it to get loose and fall off. Check the solid black and the dashed black lines. The valve then sticks in one position and the ECM senses a problem with the boost from the turbo. I have also seen them with a broken internal spring. Easy to test the valve itself. Remove it, Try to plow through it, with no vacuum applied it should be very close to sealed. Apply a vacuum and you should see the valve open.
If it fails that test replace it.

SHARTFTI I've never seen. It could be something to do with the reader itself. Or it could be a non stock tune in the ECM. There are a few companies that do those.
