My car has an issue periodically the check engine light and trac control light comes on. I have scanned it and I get a P0113 code. I replaced the Mass airflow sensor with a quality part. What else could it be?

Did you clear the codes once the repair was made?

Code: P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor 1 Circuit High Input

To be clear this is the part you replaced correct? Check out the images (below).

Hi Ken,

Yes, I cleared the code after installing the Mass Airflow sensor. I installed it about 2 months ago and didn't have any problem until yesterday day and today. Here is a screenshot of the codes I got today. I took out the Mass Airflow sensor and looked for the gasket, is it the one on the sensor?

I would look for leaks before the MAF sensor in the air intake tube to the throttle body. If that looks okay the MAF must have gone bad, can I ask which brand it is? Also, if the engine has too much blow by it will fool the MAF sensor into this code. Check out the images (below).

Hi Ken, I bought the Mass Airflow sensor from 1A Auto, so it is a TQR.

I put my smoke machine on the line and the only place it leaked is at the Mass Airflow sensor (see video). Am I missing a gasket?

Yep, that is a leak at the MAF sensor, can you remove the sensor and check the gasket?
