I was told that engine light keeps coming on because I need to replace intake valve. How long can I drive my truck before its fixed? There is no leaking and nothing seems wrong.

Go to an auto parts and scan for codes and get back to us. If it's like a code 300-306 then it may be right. Auto parts will do for free.

Here is a link to an article that features written instructions and pictures explaining how to do the scan yourself, also I have included a link to our YouTube channel with a how to video on code scanning. Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one from Amazon.com. Once you have the codes please get back to to us so we can further assist you. Thank you for visiting 2CarPros.

Ok got the codes check and it read: P0660 Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit. My question is how long can I drive? Can I drive on highway? Before I damage my engine and how much would and should this actually cost. I do not have a warranty. Thanks for help

Check prices locally as most places will give an estimate prior to work being done. Check ground at LH rear of engine compartment if corroded clean it and use dielectric grease for better contact. See pic for other causes. If you drive it your fuel mileage will suffer
