Engine light comes on

Hi, I hope you can help.

The engine light comes on, whilst driving. The car seems a bit jerky and sometimes feels as it is going to stall. It has stalled a few times.

The clutch was changed a few months ago, I did not have the problem before then.

Hello, I am Danny.

The Check Engine Light means there is a code stored in the cars computer. That code will tell where to start looking for the vehicle's poorly running symptoms. If you have access to a scanner/code reader if you could get back to us with the code numbers we would be happy to help. If you don't have access to one your local auto parts stores (Pep Boys,Autozone,O'Reilly's) will do a scan for free. I have attached a tutorial showing what is involved in the process.
