Engine knock and intermittent Low oil pressure

Hi.

Having some issues with my MK5 golf GTi.

Hello,

This sounds like the timing belt is about to fail. I would remove the front cover to confirm the issue. On the low oil pressure that should be its own post so please start a new thread for that. Here are the instructions in the diagrams below to show you how to do the timing belt.
