Hi,
I wish there were a simple answer to give you, but it really isn't as easy as one would think. Obviously, any 2.4L from the same year make and model would work, but Kia and Hyundai use the 2.4L in many vehicles.
Here is the issue: Vehicle design changes so often that there could simply be a sensor on your vehicle that may not be on a different model.
With that being said, stay with the same model year and I suspect that any 2.4L from vehicles like the Sonata, Optima, Rondo, Santa Fe, Tucson, and so on. They all offered the 2.4L in 2010. If you make a purchase, make sure to compare components on the original engine with the replacement to make sure they are the same.
Also, if you find one you question, let me know what it is so I can try to cross-reference things and determine if it will work. You can do this with model years as well.
Take care,
Joe
