Engine hot A/C off (code)

Temperature gauge goes to zero and cooling fans for engine comes on when engine is cold? Changed temperature sensor and connection and wire. Unhooked battery clear code. Seem to work fine for a day and same problem comes back?

What is the code that was set?

The AC will shut down under high temperature conditions. That is programmed into the software.

I unhooked the battery for one hour. Hooked the battery back up took the car on a five hundred mile test drive every thing to be working fine.

All you did was tell the PCM to forget the code. The issue is still there and will come back. Doing that procedure does not fix anything as the issue has not been addressed.

When it returns let us know and we can continue.
