My car gets to operating temperature very quickly but doesn't overheat. Is this normal or no? Most cars take awhile to heat up this one does in minutes.

hello,

It depends on engine design, some engines engineered in that way to reduce exhaust pollution at engine cold start because at cold oxygen sensors and catalytic converters does not have effect, they work only at warm and regulates the fuel ratio. if you have no overheating and coolant level is okay then you have no problem. check our guide for more information for overheating problem.
