After driving several minutes my interior heats up and gets warm. My gauge says normal or it's where it should be.

Good morning,

Do you mean the heater is heating up the interior with it off? Or do you mean the inside is feeling too hot from something else?

I need as much information as you can provide so I can help you.

No the heater is off, the interior still gets warm after driving several miles and it just fills the interior with warm air.

Okay, thanks.

One thing that comes to mind is the exhaust system. It could be too close to the body and heating it up. There are shields on the exhaust to prevent this from happening.

I would take it to a shop and have them put it on a lift and have them check the shield around the catalytic converter and make sure it is intact.

I attached the inspection procedure for you to view.
