Hello,

Can I ask if he security light is on? If so the system needs to be reset. here is a guide to help us do so:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system

If not a dirty throttle bore can cause this issue. here are two guides to help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/throttle-actuator-service

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/stall-at-idle

Please run down these guides and report back.

Hi,

Normally this is one of two things. First is the idle control system/throttle body. Second is a possible security system causing the engine to shut back off.

The unfortunate thing is we don't have a repair manual for your vehicle because we are here in the United States and this vehicle would be an export only. That means we can't give you exact repair details. However, the theory is the same.

Here is a guide that talks about the idle control and I would start there.

We change the alternator and it's okay. The alternator was not charging the battery.

Thanks for the update. Normally I get pretty close to the issue but I didn't expect that one. Normally the battery will keep it running until it can't sustain it any longer and then it won't restart so its odd that it started but shut off. I suspect the PCM was getting the low voltage and it was shutting it down but it had enough to run the starter.

Thanks for the info. I am sure that info will help others that have similar issues. Thanks
