engine fault light

my engine fault light comes on after about 20mins driving or when going up a hill after about 10mins driving. nothing seems to happen when it comes on it just pops up. could it be a fault with the light? also it turns off when i turn the car off but when i turn it back on the same thing happens again after 20mins driving. it is a honda integra but was not a choice in the model section. thank you.

no, it has a code we need to know the number. the computer re sets after shutting off.

it sounds like a possible O2 sensor as that is similar to what happens when it fails.

i was told that the integra does not have a mass air flow sensor so what sensor could it be? also if i take it to the shop to get looked at does the light have to be on for them to check the code? is it still ok to drive? cheers thanks for the help

you can drive it but i would get it checked out to see what code. it has long term memory so the code is stored.
