When it's really hot outside like right now it's 104 degrees and I just sit at an idle the thermostat goes up to the mark between 210 and 260, and then it usually comes down a little bit. my question is, would that be the thermostat itself or is it possibly the radiator itself needs to be cleaned with the amount of miles and it's gone on it? Could it be something else?

I was wondering if there is a fan that has a better pitch on it that would pull more air through the radiator?
