engine /EPC lights stay on

when i turn the ignition half way, the EPC & engine light stay on, when the car starts the EPC goes out but engine light stays on. ??

seat ibiza cool/s 1.4 2000/1 petrol

we dont' have those in u.s but scan for codes and check fuel pressure first
