I went out to start the car and it had no electrical power. I replaced the battery and the car worked fine. I had to let it sit while I went away on business and when I went to start the car again it once again had no electrical power. What type of problem am I looking at and is it financially worth it to have the car repaired?

This looks like a drain on the battery. Have the battery charged and reinstall. Check around vehicle for any lights that are not being turned off. Sometimes the brake lights stay on if the brake pedal stopper is damaged or missing.
Check if the cooling fans are working when engine is turned off. It could be a faulty relay.

This should not be a very expensive repair but it could take some time to diagnose the problem if electrical components are faulty draining the battery.
