engine does not turn over with key?

engine does not turn over with key. I opened the ignition relay and pushed the points together. the engine swings but does not start. could it be a faulty relay.

we don't have that model in U.S. but try resetting security system if no manual look online

This is the same a as a ford focus, I would check the floor mat to make sure you can push the clutch pedal in completely, please go over this video which will help
