Please help me. I have changed the alternator and the battery for new car started and ran for about five miles, then just lost power and quit running again. Any ideas please?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

First, please understand that this model vehicle is not offered in the US. As a result, specifications and specific technical information is not available to me. Regardless, I will do my best to help.

Based on what you described, the first thing you should check is to see if the engine is getting fuel. There is a change the pump has failed. Here is a link that shows in general how fuel pressure is checked:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Next, if the fuel pump is working properly, you need to check and confirm that the spark plugs are getting spark. Here is a link that shows how that is done:

If you have spark, confirm that the fuel injectors are getting power to inject fuel into the engine. Here is a link that shows how to check:

Do these things first and let me know the results. I will watch for your reply.

Take care,
Joe
