Hi. I can drive my car about five to ten miles without a problem but after that it will keep cutting out. It will start after ten to fifteen minutes of waiting, but will only drive for a one to two miles then will cut out again. any advice would be great. thank you

Hello and welcome to 2CarPros. To me, it sounds like you're having fuel flow issues. Either you need a fuel filter, or you need a fuel pump. The first thing to do would be to get a can of starting fluid and spray it into the intake when the car wouldn't start. Then see if it starts and shuts off or almost starts. If so, then it's definitely not getting enough gas. You would then confirm this diagnosis by getting a fuel pressure tester and checking your pressure. First, you would check it with the key on, and engine off. Then you would check it again immediately after starting the car. And then you would redo those same two tests when it shuts off and won't start again. If I'm right, then the fuel pressure will be significantly lower than it was before you started the car and right after starting the car.

Here in the US, you can borrow a fuel pressure tester from the major automotive parts stores. I suspect that you can probably do that wherever you are too.

Here's our general guide on testing fuel pressure: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

So look into that and let us know what you find by replying to this thread. We'll go from there. Good luck!
