My daughters vehicle will shut off at random times. It displays a starting disabled and sometimes a reduced power on the dash. After about a minute it will restart and drive normal. We took to our local Chevrolet dealer and had new ignition system put in including new keys. They cannot find what is causing it . It is a dangerous situation and I cannot find any information on how to fix it.

This has been a problem for a lot of Uplander owners. The most common repair is a new PCM with the updated programming. The PCM fails, wait a few minutes and it starts right back up but the way it fails also does not set any codes.
