When I remove the crankshaft sensor fron the engine and test it with an ohm meter what resitance should I get if sensor is NOT bad?

A resistance test will rarely tell you anything as to the functionality of a Crank sensor. It needs to be tested using a lab scope and comparing wave patterns.
