engine cranks but will not start

Engine cranks but will not start and engine light blinks when cranking. When we jump to start it with another car engine will start at a very very low power that you cannot notice or hear it is running.

It sounds like the exhaust is plugged, can you remove the pipe from the exhaust manifold and try and start it?
