My truck has spark, getting fuel but will not start. Tried starting fluid and installed a new distributor cap but it still will not start. What else could be the cause?

Are you getting a good hot, blue snapping spark? If the spark is white or orange, it may be too weak to ignite the fuel. If it is blue, it could be a timing issue or engine compression issue.

Gonna try spark plugs and wires which it could use anyway but leaning towards the timing. Thank you so much for your help JacobandNickolas!

Not a problem. Just a thought, if you think it is timing, most times it will sound odd when cranking and/or backfire. Simply place the harmonic balancer (on front of crankshaft front lower part of the engine behind belt pulley) to top dead center. Remove the distributor cap and make sure the rotor is pointing to the number one spark plug wire. If it is, timing should not be an issue.
