I'm looking to upgrade the wiring for the big 3 as I have a couple subs and amp installed. I have already done the battery neg to chassis. I believe I know where the end point is for the engine block ground (it looks to be beside the battery at the driver side wheel area) but am unsure where it begins. If at all possible, to locate it, that would be great.

Hello,

Look at the diagrams below, it shows the grounds for the engine harness.
Is this what you are trying to locate?

Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Hi Sean, it looks like it neither shows the spots I am talking about. But it does show a spot in the second picture I was thinking of putting the new ground. So that works perfectly.

It does make me question what the two are by the battery more though. I have attached a photo of their location.

That looks like the ground for the body harness.
That's the harness that runs throughout the vehicle.

Sean, you sir are awesome! I guess I will attach the g816a in the second picture from earlier to the battery as well as it seems to be the best spot for the engine ground. Thank you for this! Next will be the attempt of the alternator wire, hopefully in a shop.
