The car runs but will not shift with a mass airflow sensor plugged in?

If you unplug the mass airflow sensor the transmission will begin to shift again but the engine will then begin to bog.

Hi,

It sounds like the mass air flow sensor is faulty. Have you replaced it or tried cleaning it? If not, first, try to clean it.

If you do clean it, make sure to use a cleaner designed for the sensor. Also, if that doesn't resolve the issue, replace the sensor.

We have the mass airflow sensor so idk what to do to it.

Do you have the original one or a new one? Or do you mean you installed the new one and nothing has changed?
