I am in the process of restoring the car listed above and it is time to install the rebuilt engine and transmission. Do you recommend that they be installed separately or mated together? I am working in a home garage.

Hi,

What a great old car. My first car ever was a 67. I would still have it if the floors didn't fall apart with rust.

Okay, I would suggest installing the engine and transmission separately. The reason I say that is because of the rad support. It makes it really difficult to get them in at the same time. You would have to tilt the trans/engine downward and if the vehicle isn't up high enough, the tail housing on the trans will hit the ground.

I hope that helps. Also, if you have a chance, let me know how things turn out for you. I'm interested in knowing. Also, pictures of the car are welcome. LOL

Take care,

joe
