Engine keeps shutting off

Well, my car stalls and then the engine light comes on so I pull on next parking lot, as I pull my car does.so I start it turns over fine but only idles for like 10 minutes and shuts off. so start car again turns over right then I put in drive and drive around parking only 40-50 feet and car shuts off again. now it it's a continuous same problem. Oh ya, I just had an water pump installed ran perfect now a few days later this new problem. why and how can I fix it?

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like the crankshaft position sensor is going bad, It may have been damaged when the pump was replaced or even from a leak from the water pump.
