i have a 95 vw jetta manual transmission...i have a blown engine tho..is the 96 vw engine compatible for the 95? or do i need the 95? im getting a better deal with the 96 as to the 95..less milage as well...what do you guys say?

it has to be the same size and all the externals from your need to be transferred to the donor long block
