This vehicle only had a 4.3L as an option so that is the only engine that will fit in this vehicle without any alterations.
However, this is a Chevrolet product and they are pretty easy to swap in other Chevrolet 350s. However, this van is pretty tight under the hood so adding the 2 more cylinders may cause it to not fit without major alteration.
So what I would suggest is starting with seeing if anyone out there has a blog or website where they have already done this and given all the things that you have to work through.
Next search the aftermarket parts world for things that will make this easier. Starting with engine mounts. It appears Summit has altered mounts for this Van to have a 5.7L/350 in it so it may be easier then I thought. Please see the attachment below.
Here is the website that I found:

Lastly, sourcing the engine and transmission will be what you need to look into next. What I would do is find a swap kit. Basically this is a complete swap kit that you will need and they are readily available. They come with the engine, transmission, PCM, wiring harness, and sensors that you will need. Basically they just pull it out of another vehicle and then sell it as a complete kit. They are affordable and take a lot of the searching out of the equation.
