About 5 weeks ago we had to plow through snow to get home. After we got home the truck wouldn’t start. Sensors were replaced and it still didn’t start. After it warmed up outside and the truck sat for several days it started. The. A few days ago, more snow same thing it sat a few days melted all the snow from my under the truck and it started. What’s wrong?

Hi,

It could be a few things, but the one thing that is most likely affected by deep snow would be the crankshaft position sensor. It may be getting water into the connector. It is located next to the crankshaft pulley at the bottom of the engine. See the pic attached.

If I am correct, you will lose spark to the plugs, and it won't start. The next time it happens, check to see if there is spark.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Try this and let me know what you find.

Take care,
