Engine shuts off after releasing gas pedal

My engine will start but will shut off after I release gas pedal.

Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner if it continues check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. If check engine light on scan for codes as well.see link.
