After an oil and air filter change, a boiling/gurgling sound comes from the engine after switching the car off.

First thing to do would be to verify the oil level.
Next would be to check the coolant level. Low coolant can cause that sound as the coolant in the heater core moves around and the air tries to rise to the highest point.
