Want to know how durable the engine is. Can I expect 200,000 or more miles before major breakdown?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

First, most any engine made today will go 200,000 miles. However, if it does, it is because of proper maintenance and not being abused. Nissan, like many other companies, makes great vehicles. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule which is located in the owner's/maintenance manuals.

I want to add one more thought. You mentioned going that long without major repairs. Although engines can make it, do not forget there are many components on the vehicle that will wear out. It must be expected. Components such as sensors, bearings, brake components, transmission components (and the list goes on) wear out or break. So, like anything else, there will be required repairs along the line.

Let me know if you have other questions or need anything.

Take care,
Joe
