I have a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer 1.2L with about 61,165 miles. I'm having an intermittent issue when shifting into Drive and sometimes while driving.
When I put it into Drive, it engages, but sometimes the vehicle will stutter/jerk several times before it starts moving normally. The best way I can describe it is almost like “stutter-stutter-stutter, then go.” The engine RPM does not flare or rev up when this happens. It stays around idle.
It isn't consistent. Sometimes it happens after the vehicle has been sitting for a while, but other times I can drive somewhere, shut it off briefly, come back out, and it will do it again. Other times it won't. Today when I put it in drive after coming out of the store it engaged but didn't move and the engine didn't rev when I hit the gas.
I have not noticed the same problem when shifting into Reverse, and there are currently no warning lights or check-engine light.
