Classic sign of a vacuum leak. Check over the hoses and connections for a leak. It could be as simple as a broken vacuum line or bad purge solenoid. Or it could be a bad idle air control or throttle position control.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to clean the throttle body as well.
Is the check engine light on? If yes, you will want to get it scanned for the code(s) it has stored and post those.
