I’m trying to replace the body control module, but I’m having trouble getting the dashboard apart. The car has a radio with a CD player. I’m afraid to pull the plastic off because it seems like there’s bolts holding it on rather than clips. I’ve removed a total of eight screws so far, but I’m afraid to break the plastic and did not see any other screws or bolts I can access.

Hello, You shouldn't need to remove the radio or take the center of the dashboard apart to access the body control module.

The BCM is located under the driver's side of the dash, in the lower-left instrument panel area. Remove the driver-side lower insulator/knee panel to gain access.

Once you can see the BCM, disconnect the battery before unplugging it. Disconnect the BCM electrical connectors, release the retaining tab on its bracket, and slide the module forward/out of the bracket. Check out the images and instructions below.
