Electrical harness short

Just had my oil temperature sensor replaced so that my check engine light would go off to get it smoged. The problem was not the sensor but a short somewhere in the electrical harness that the coolant and oil temperature sensors patch into. We found this out after the mechanic had wiggled that area of wires. It also allowed the cruise control to start working again as well. I want to find out what that part would be known as so I can research it further to have it replaced.

More then likely it is S167 as this is a shared sensor ground going back to the TIPM. So if they are grabbing the harness and getting this to act up, I would start with this. I attached a picture of this harness out of a Chrysler minivan manual because their wiring diagrams and location views are far better then VW. Just an FYI, the VW van is made by Chrysler so they are the same.

If it were me, I would run a new ground to the sensors from the TIPM so that you don't have to replace the harness but if you would like to do that then it is the engine harness that you would need.
