Ants and moisture in wiring harness under-hood, no radio, overhead console, interior lights, other intermittent problems. Wanted to know under-dash relay location diagram and circuit description. I have checked and cleaned body ground locations behind kick panels and most visible wiring connectors. I know of two relay boxes on passenger side, and one on driver's side left of A/C control; with at least two each.

Good morning.

I posted the relay and what they control at the bottom.

Here is a guide to help you test it:

Let me know what exact circuits you need to view as there are so many of them.

I have the owners manual, so I know the ones in the fuse-boxes, but there are two separate, small relay panels above and behind the glove-box/heater box assembly, etc., and one small relay panel under drivers' side. If I remember correctly, there are at least two relays in each of those panels. Just wanted to make sure what they control (BCM, LCM, pedal adjustment, etc.). I had to fix an older Crown Victoria that would not run years back, was PCM main relay. Was hidden, no books I had been told where it was. An old Ford expert I knew had a book and gave description. Same boat now, just need to know which set controls what. And I will write it in repair guide and owners' manual.

Can you see if you have power at fuse #22? Here is the power distribution wiring diagrams so you can see how it works and a guide to show you how to test for power:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken

Thanks so much. Hard to get Ford diagrams, especially since the dealer here is unwilling to interact with anyone not employed there.
My acquaintance who is a ford M tech moved to New Mexico and is hard to connect with.
