Electrical problem numbers on the dash do not show up?

My car worked perfectly fine like brand new before I replaced an old fuse for my 12v cigarette port and once I replaced it my car had trouble turning on and the numbers on the dash didn’t show up. Google is saying it’s the alternator but how if it just happened when I replaced the 15A fuse?

I don't think it is the alternator unless the battery warning light is on while the engine is running. I would remove the battery and take it to the auto parts store for testing; it sounds like it is bad. Here is a guide and instructions below for your car:
