While driving the horn went off and would not turn off

I was in the middle of driving and all of the sudden my car horn went on. The horn stays on unless I put the car in park and turn it off. As soon as I turn my key to turn the car back on, the horn starts up again. How do I get it to turn off?

It sounds like the horn switch in the pad is stuck on but to be sure lets remove horn pad to remove the wires. Here is a wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works in the diagrams below and a guide to walk you through the steps:
