Electrical issue

Came home from work and found the vehicle in the garage with no key in ignition has not been driven. Interior lights clicking and sounds like back hatch was locking non stop. Now battery is dead and I fear fire because it's electrical.

It sounds like the battery went bad causing the issue. here is a guide to check the battery and if failed a guide to help replace it:
