Electrical/ignition and starter/wiring/gauges?

I'm trying to replace the ignition switch wiring that goes to my starter on my vehicle listed above Laredo. I found diagrams that show me how it should be taken apart and then replaced and put back together but nothing that tells me what type or kind of wiring I should be using for this specific job as well as the gauge and size I need.

The gauge size will not be mentioned so just match the wire size to the old wiring, here is the ignition switch wiring diagrams let me know if you need anything else to fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
