Two questions about the lights: first, can I swap out the high voltage headlights that hold a charge for the regular headlights on say a Honda Accord of the same year, and if yes, what does it entail? And second, I replaced the fog light bulbs and about two months later the fuse and one bulbs were blown. Now I get a blown fuse whenever I try to turn the food lights on whether the bulbs are good or not. Thoughts?

Hello,

The first part of your question is no. The fuse that feeds the headlights in your vehicle is rated at 120 Amps and will allow way to much current to flow to the headlights and they will blow as soon as you turn them on. The fog light fuse is blowing every time you turn them on because you have a short to ground on the wire that runs from the FR FOG Fuse 53(20A) in the Under hood Fuse/Relay Box to the Front Fog Light Relay in the Under hood Fuse/Relay Box C via the Blue/Red wire. Look for a spot that the insulation has worn off, chaffed, or anywhere where there is bare wire that is making contact with the vehicle body or any component that is grounded. I have the wire highlighted for you in the wiring diagram I have included for you in the diagrams down below. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out

Thanks,
Alex
