Shut off and will not restart?

I had the battery light come on and a check alternator warning come on. And the alternator was squealing. I went to the parts store to get a new one where my car shut off and wouldn't start. Installed new alternator. After jumping it, it ran fine for about 30 miles then the battery light returned, and not followed by the check alternator warning. But shortly after, numerous warning lights came on including ABS, parking brake, and front stabilization system. Then it shut off and wouldn't start. I'm thinking the battery went bad shortly after the alternator. But could it be something else instead or also?

Wow, this is a tough one. Is there anything electrical working in the vehicle at this time? Also, after installing the new alternator, was the belt still making noise?

Let me know that. Also, here is a very simple load test you can do at home to test the battery. It doesn't require any tools. Let me know the results.
