When the rpm's get to a certain range the headlights get brighter, the A/C blasts harder, the speakers crackle and the dash dials shuts off. In the past, the headlights have blown out from this. The battery and alternator are working properly. Please help. Thank you.

Hello,
This sounds like you could have a problem with your vehicle's voltage regulator. The voltage regulator, or for your vehicle Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry is located within your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) or "computer". Your PCM may be faulty and causing this problem and may need to be replaced. Please get back to us with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex
